How are you, guys?
I pray and hope that you are all living healthy and fighting whatever battle you're facing today. I know that I've been so neglectful with this gaming blog for the past years and I admit that I have been treating it as an afterthought and a last resort whenever I feel a need to escape from the hullabaloos of the world.
As for me, I am truly grateful that the Divine Almighty has still allowed me to live a good life until now. Despite my shortcomings, He has always come through for me in terms of work, my personal battles, health, and finances. Yes, just like every one, I have my own struggles, my own crosses to carry but I am beyond thankful that I can still sleep soundly at night and do what normal do during their waking hours. Yes, this pandemic has in some way taken its toll on my mental health but I think I am coping well. I guess the beau, all the reading, gaming, and the general business at work made me forget that there's a pandemic. My being introvert and being a homebuddy also helped in a way that the lockdowns didn't affect me at all except during commute time or the fact that there's difficulty in travelling to other cities.
But what about the others who are not like me? What about those who got unemployed? What about those who are facing great financial crisis after getting hospitalized? I know that my family members are also trying their best to weather out this storm. My beau is constantly mustering his courage because there are many positive cases in his workplace right now but he can't afford to show any sign of weakness because they have a big project that must be commissioned soon. And me, I am trying my best to be financially stable during this time without compromising my ability to provide for my family. And most importantly, the beau and I also have a desire to start a family of our own despite this pandemic.
Well, I am veering from the real topic here. Seriously, I am praying for everyone's safety and health. Game on, guys!
